The Starfighter uses a sci-fi setting. The action takes place in an alternate future where insect-like creatures fight mechanical creatures. The story is about the paladin and the sorcerer. This is the name of a spaceship pilot “Gryphon” and his partner. The protagonist and his battle buddy hail from a planet called Hive, ruled by Queen Crusher. It confronts the evil king Nimrod who, together with his servants, is trying to conquer the entire galaxy. Antagonistic troops are on Earth and in other parts of the solar system. The story is divided into 6 missions.

Starfighter is an arcade space simulator. Its three-dimensional low-polygon graphics are stylized in early 3D. The project is designed for single players. The player controls a two-seater flying machine. He can change the camera perspective and look back. The transporter is equipped with missiles and lasers and a regenerating shield. The user can adjust the speed, move in different directions and shoot. Battles take place in space and across planetary surfaces. The user has to destroy enemy vehicles, hangars, airstrips, satellites, containers and other objects. There are points for that.
