Sphere – Flying Cities Takes the player into a sci-fi world. City building simulation that includes elements of strategy and survival in unusual environments. The story campaign has several outcomes and events that affect how you progress. The user becomes the leader of a small group of people who must rebuild society in a hostile environment.

The story begins in the future when a massive asteroid hits the moon. Lots of debris from satellites and comets hit Earth. The surface of the planet has become uninhabitable due to radioactive fallout. The ecosystem is gradually deteriorating, but humanity’s best minds have managed to develop a new anti-gravity technology. The knowledge helped design a flying city, dubbed the last bastion of human civilization. The user becomes the commander and takes control of the flying city. As society rebuilds, you must defend territories and overcome obstacles.

The ecosystem is fragile and people are on the verge of upheaval if their desires or demands are not met. The welfare of your subjects will allow you to successfully complete your mission. Colonists need shelter, food, and medical care. Sometimes it is necessary to make intelligent sacrifices in order to survive. Scientists in space are researching new technologies that can increase the parameter of each aspect in passing. Equipment and special gadgets help to withstand natural disasters: poisonous clouds, asteroids and geomagnetic storms.
