There is always a connection between you and your shadow, whether you like it or not. You cannot live without your shadow and vice versa: the shadow cannot exist without you. But what if your shadow is distant from you? This is the central idea in the logic game Shadow Puppeteer.

shadow puppeteer – the debut game by Norwegian indie studio Sarepta Studio. The story is simple: a nameless boy and his shadow are torn apart by the forces of an evil puppeteer. You must find him and win, reuniting with your shadow in the process and freeing other shadows he has stolen.

You play as a boy and use the arrow keys to move. You can stand anywhere as long as your shadow is close to you and delimited by dark lines. Together you have to reach the end of different levels full of entertaining puzzles.

There is a definite connection between you and your shadow. Not just a connection where without one there is no other, but also a real line that connects you. Usually this line is purple when you are close together, but turns white as you move away from each other. Be careful as this connection can be broken if you get too far apart. Then it’s game over for you.

Shadow Puppeteer is a game with a great original idea. Your shadow is your friend and companion with whom you must go through all the levels and restore justice.
