Oniken – A fast-paced and violent side-scrolling game inspired by 8-bit classics like Ninja Gaiden and Shatterhand. The events are transferred to the world of the post-apocalyptic future, where almost all people disappeared as a result of a global war. The few survivors are oppressed by cybernetic organisms called Oniken.

General Zhukov decides to lead a resistance group, but their uprising was brutally crushed. The mercenary ninja Zak, whose past is mysterious, comes to the general and says that he is the only one who can stop the enemy and asks to join the ranks of the resistance. From this moment, the main actions of the platformer begin.

Zack’s design was borrowed from the iconic character Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. Despite many references and obvious borrowings, Oniken: Unstoppable is a standalone project that tries to pay homage to the classics by bringing many modern mechanics to the gameplay and a unique storyline that is a dystopian story. The gameplay is very challenging and tries to emulate the spirit of the 80’s games.
