Amidst the Darkness allows users to embark on a dark and scary journey and take control of a hero trapped in dark tunnels. The game is made in the horror roller genre, where the protagonist is forced to wade through a bewildering maze of canals and halls that lie deep underground. The main task of the players is to find a way out to escape from the monsters living in the corridors. Players will wander through half-lit rooms containing a creepy, sadistic “creature”.

In Amidst The Darkness, players must solve spatial puzzles and unlock paths to new areas of the map. The game contains a variety of scrimmages that create tense moments during the passage and scare the players. Users must move as a first-person character, interacting with the interactive environment and unique items to solve puzzles.
