Story Westboro takes place in the near future of the year 2039. A global catastrophe has happened where water is now scarce. Almost all sources are contaminated and unsuitable for exploitation. Humanity has reached a population of 12 billion, making water disaster the number one global problem. SICON took over the remaining drinking resources and sparked a middle-class riot.

Three heroes begin their journey in the first weeks of the uprising. Westboro’s gameplay is a mix of isometric RPG and point-and-click. The protagonists have a huge selection of weapons and abilities at their disposal. The choice of armor affects the hero’s movement. The easier the defense, the more agile and faster the character. You can reach the target in several ways: sneak quietly and covertly through the crowd of enemies, or engage in a direct confrontation and kill everyone in the area. By developing specific tactics, you can fight at both short and long ranges. The enemies are very different and use different equipment. Each enemy type requires its own tactics and individual approach. The gameplay allows, with the right skill, to pit enemies against each other and slip between them silently.

The campaign consists of chapters, each of which contains a number of side missions. By completing secondary objectives, they reveal more plot details and allow you to better understand the structure of the world. The game is in constant shortage of ammo and medical supplies, especially on higher difficulties. Among the special abilities, characters use psi abilities that allow you to summon a protective barrier or temporary invisibility. When you gain enough experience, you can improve the heroes’ skills.
