However, some of the scenarios available for investigation are fictional and occur in the future. The gameplay resembles a more dynamic version of board games due to the schematic nature of the surrounding world. There is a training mode that allows you to dive into the mechanics and learn them before engaging in real battles. Available scenarios for different wars:

• Hastings (1066) – A combined army of Normans, Saxons and Vikings brings troops into England.
• Waterloo (1815) – the last military operations of the French army led by Napoleon Bonaparte.
• Berlin (1945) – the last days of World War II before Germany’s total surrender.
• Bull Run (1861) – Civil War in the United States of America.
• Hamilcar (264) – the long First Punic War between the armies of Rome and Carthage.
• Six Days (1967) – brief conflict between Israelis and Arabs.

The world map is divided into a large number of cells along which units move. Each zone has its own bonuses or buildings, capturing them for long periods of time confers certain benefits. Clashes take place in automatic mode, artificial intelligence calculates all buffs and negative effects on the soldiers, their characteristics, weaknesses and strengths to get the result of the clash and determine who emerged victorious from it.
