The protagonist in Vagabond finds himself in an unfamiliar territory after losing his memories. The hero has to deal with the situation and try to survive in an unfamiliar environment. This game is made in the RPG adventure genre with elements of survival simulator where you have to roam the open world and get to know its inhabitants. The universe takes place in a fantasy setting where you become an adventurer and have to explore the surroundings.

The graphics in Wagabond are made in an old-school style, allowing users to watch the hero from above. The character can move around the isometric map, interact with objects and other inhabitants of the world, and engage in crafting. Players will mine resources like wood or stone to build primitive tools or weapons to defend against enemies.

The main task for the user is to explore the area and build a destiny for the character. Carve a unique path in each playthrough, face trials in dark dungeons, hunt for ancient treasures or artifacts, forge and deliver swords for the kingdom, or help villagers who need the support of a true hero. The user is free to choose a trade or profession.

When you start the game you have to create and customize a protagonist. The surrounding locations are procedurally generated, creating random biomes and events that occur within them. Players will meet over 100 smaller NPCs who can teach them new skills, trade or share the latest gossip. During the passage you have to collect resources, cut down trees, mine ore, grow crops on farms and kill monsters to craft your own weapons or armor.
