Trials of Cascadia is a fantasy RPG in the spirit of classic JRPGs. You must explore the fictional world of Cascadia and play the paladin Isaac. He has a best friend named Omar who accompanies the protagonist throughout the adventure. As you explore the territory, you must meet different heroes and recruit them to your party.

Travel by land, sea and air. Heroes must save the whole world from destruction. Adventurers make moral choices that lead to one consequence or another. Some NPCs can lie, so it’s up to each player to decide who to trust. Many smaller quests are available to learn more about the world around you and improve your characters.

You can use utility items and magic. Together with the protagonists you have to visit 4 unique cities. There are also four special dungeons where you have to fight difficult enemies and face powerful bosses. Battles in Trials of Cascadia feature a turn-based system.

There are a total of 8 unique perks to take with you on your adventure. Bosses are represented by individual mechanics and strikes. Travelers will face 50 types of enemies. Each enemy has their own weaknesses and vulnerabilities. This requires the use of elemental debuffs and various attack spells. You can slow down monsters or cancel magic attacks to use more appropriate tactics against enemies.
