time out takes the user to the alternative America of the first half of the 20th century. In this country people began to use time instead of money. The main character tries to track down a criminal who sells fake “currency” that kills his customers. The title has an eye-catching visual style. It combines pixel art with modern effects. The camera is on the side.

At TimeOut, the days of the poor are literally numbered. And the hero detective, whose financial situation is even worse, has about 5 minutes to live. He takes up solving the case in order to earn some more and live. In addition to ordinary people, the world is inhabited by large creditors who can lend time and shadowy usurers looking for debtors.

This is a small indie project that will take half an hour to complete. However, in such a short amount of time, the story manages to show the user multiple plot twists. The game can be classified as an adventure game. It recreates the atmosphere of noir. The gloomy protagonist walks through the night streets in the rain. He travels down dark alleyways, cheap bars and filthy hotels in search of a suspect. The detective keeps advancing the countdown timer. If it reads “zero”, the Hound dies. The gameplay consists of running through locations, talking to NPCs and doing rare shootouts with bandits.
