The Last Man is a science fiction horror story in which the main character is a space commando fighter. He serves on the distant planet CA-210717, long used as a vast secret laboratory by members of the powerful ALUC Corporation. Here scientists are engaged in experiments and experiments on aggressive alien creatures, which in the long term can be used to realize their own military ambitions.

The Last Man protagonist and all members of his squad receive a distress signal and are forced to go to the laboratory complex to find out what is going on there. Fighters climb underground levels and find hundreds of dead scientists just ripped to pieces. The mercenaries will then encounter aggressive aliens who will immediately attack soldiers. Only the protagonist manages to survive, who is now forced to wander alone through desolate places in search of a way out.

As part of the single player campaign, the player must overcome 6 huge levels resembling mazes. They are teeming with enemies – you can either fight them or run away when the situation around you allows it. You have to fight with the help of futuristic firearms and all sorts of explosives. It’s very important not to let enemies get too close – they can kill you with just one hit or two at most. Luckily, the premises are full of ammo and fairly powerful weapons, leaving enough resources for slaughter.
