The evil within 2 challenges the concept of a complex stealth horror established by the writers in the previous part of the dilogy. The sequel is more of a third-person action film in spirit, with horror being a rudimentary element. The third-person gameplay of the game consists of constant exploration of the world in search of bullets, gunpowder, first-aid kits and other supplies intended to facilitate the protagonist’s journey.
