Each hero in Teeworlds has several special abilities: double jump and grappling hook. Reinforced jumps allow you to get to high platforms, and with the help of a hook you can hold other characters or cling to high ledges. 6 weapons available: hammer, pistol, shotgun, grenade launcher, blaster and katana.

The hammer and pistol are immediately available, while the rest of the weapons must be acquired in the passing process. Each hero has 10 points of health and armor. Play in three modes: Capture the Flag, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. Each of the modes can be played with a variety of modifications: Ball, Instagib, Race, Dummy Drag, Freeze, Catch and others.

Major Modifications:

• Instagib – an endless supply of lasers, all other weapons are forbidden, and heroes are killed in one hit;
• OpenFNG – the immobilized body of the enemy must be taken to a special place;
• zCatch – you must kill all opponents on the map;
• Race – speed mode in which you need to pass the map as quickly as possible;
• DDRace – the conditions are the same as in the previous paragraph, only now you need to complete the level with the command.
