Tales of Arise – Japanese role-playing game that acts as both a sequel and a reboot of the famous JRPG adventure series. This is the 17th game in the series. The basic game principles have not changed. As before, you have to explore a huge open world where you have to fight against a variety of enemies, complete quests, level up and meet numerous heroes.

The combat system remains the same. It’s called the Linear Motion Battle System. The events of the game take place in the medieval fantasy world of Dahna, which has been invaded by creatures from the planet Rena. In this game, magic and technology coexist as one. However, Dana’s resources are exhausted and the people become mere slaves in the hands of the residents of Rena, whose goal is to extract resources through captives.

The story revolves around two main characters, the man from Dana, Alfen, and the girl from Rena, Shion. They unite in the face of a common threat. The heroine looks down on Alfen all the time, but as the story progresses they have to change their views and reconsider their beliefs. The protagonists must explore a bright and unusual world to stop an ancient evil that could destroy both kingdoms. Tales of Arise’s visuals feature anime styles. Characters and environments are very detailed. The gameplay is presented as a party RPG where you have to control multiple heroes at the same time.
