Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure Combines a platformer and an action game. This is the fourth part of the series. You have to save the protagonist from the first game in the franchise. In the story, Harry Pitfall Jr. sets out to find his father. He is kidnapped by a stranger in South America.

In the game “Pitfall: The Adventure of Maya” the hero can quickly run left and right, jump high and crouch. If you abruptly change direction while moving, the figure will briefly begin to slide. If he hits walls while running, he falls on his back and remains unconscious for a few seconds. The character can hit enemies with a whip. However, it is much easier to run away from some enemies than to fight them.

The story campaign consists of 13 challenging levels. The stages themselves are caves, jungles, mines and so on. These places are full of secrets. Game progress is saved at special points. The archaeologist must fight with enemies, avoid numerous traps and overcome various obstacles. The enemies are represented by wild boars, snakes, crocodiles and monkeys. Stones can be thrown at animals, but first they have to find them. Other items can be found on site. The heart increases the amount of HP, the clock allows you to slow down time, and so on.
