Nadir is based on Dante Alighieri’s immortal work describing all 7 circles of Hell. The player must take control of one of the seven deadly sins. Each playable character has 3 cards or avatars that have defensive, attacking and support properties. You can also develop and improve your minions and buy cards between battles to combine the best combinations of attack, defense or support. A compiled deck of cards guarantees a happy outcome in confrontations, but you must carefully consider each decision.

In Nadir you must traverse a confusing labyrinthine city symbolic of an underworld full of dark horrors and monsters. Literally every step along the way here is a lurking threat – an enemy just waiting for the right moment to attack. However, each character movement can greatly affect the outcome of a duel – canceling previous successes or reversing the course of the fight with a powerful bonus. At the end of each level, the main character faces a boss, an unstoppable foe who must find his Achilles’ heel in order to defeat him. During the passage, the player sees how many moves he has in reserve until the last duel, to calculate all possible options and try to increase his own chances of success.
