The project was originally released on mobile devices. When porting the title to PC, the developers adjusted the controls. They’ve also added support for ultra-wide monitors and refined the graphics, which can now be admired in Full HD. The sequel differs from the first part in improved graphics, new locations and puzzles, more varied gameplay. The main difference is that there are two playable characters instead of one as before. Walkthrough takes about 5 hours on average.

You don’t have to go through the original to understand the story in Monument Valley Project 2. New protagonists in the sequel. It tells the story of a woman named Roh and her daughter. As the game progresses, the child matures. These characters walk the path together, but sometimes they have to part. In the game you have to walk on surfaces that can change. For example: the ceiling can become the floor and vice versa. The video game allows you to activate switches and pull levers to set various mechanisms in motion. The gameplay itself is meditative and relaxing. The design of the location changes depending on the mood of the protagonists. Thus, in moments of anxious separation of mother and daughter, the levels become monochrome.
