Mental Hospital – Child of Evil tells the story of a young reporter who works part-time at a small local newspaper. One day, the hero learns from his girlfriend Ada about the strange things that are happening on the grounds of the Santa Monica Hospital. A guy decides to find out what kind of mystical phenomena are troubling the citizens in the neighborhood of the mental hospital, leading him to conduct a private investigation. The game is made in the genre of stealth horror in the first person, where there are elements of puzzles.

To investigate the case in Mental Hospital – Child of Evel, users must wade through desolate three-dimensional locations and interact with the environment. Players will pick up and use found items and read the notes scattered around the area. The hero is equipped with a video camera to record the events on tape. Rumor has it that the insane and the most hopelessly insane are sent to the hospital to spend their days under the care of doctors.
