Mech Armada’s post-apocalyptic setting puts you in control of the robots that represent the mech faction fighting the Swarm. Human survivors of a global cataclysm and the takeover of the universe by terrifying alien monsters must build special combat vehicles and send them into battle. The game is designed as a turn-based tactical strategy game with roguelike elements, where users must collect their own equipment and fight on an isometric map.

Users in Mech Armada act as a commander sending heavy artillery, consisting of large robots with cannons, into battle. Each vehicle can be improved by adjusting its appearance and combat characteristics, and adding new weapons. More than 70 pieces are available for upgrades, allowing you to create unique combinations. During battles, players place troops and take turns attacking the enemy or retreating and increasing the mechs’ defenses.

To defeat your opponent you need to try different tactics, add necessary equipment components or replace characters before difficult battles. Players have a limited amount of resources that must be spent wisely. The levels are full of randomness, with random generation of locations, monsters, rewards, and available resources, adding to the replayability and element of random encounters on the field. You have to visit the destroyed suburbs, deserts and urban areas.
