A world with no rules in Longvinter where you can catch fish, grow your own food, build and set up your own place, and loot valuable items from other users. This is a multiplayer sandbox game where you can build your own camps or villages for your team. The player finds themselves on Longwinter Island to explore and understand why this particular island is so special. Shaping the universe as the player sees it will be easy because there are no rules.

The player spawns on an island near the nearest small camp. The competition is very intense, and in order to appear better than others, you need to acquire new tools and trade your collected resources with other players. For a more successful expedition, you need to upgrade your equipment. Crafting helps cross 2 or more items for some new items.

A key feature of the game is the open world where you can roam the island, explore it and find new artifacts to survive. Everyone wants to be better than everyone else and have more success even in a normal Longvinter game, so there is a PVP mode where players can easily overpower each other. The building of structures takes place in any terrain, no matter with whom. To protect your home from uninvited guests and to prevent house demolition attempts, there is privacy. Farming and growing helps you not go hungry and brings additional cash rewards if you sell all the loot.
