The girl does not remember at all what the environment looks like to her, not limited to a small screen. What if she could make friends who admired nature and went shopping with her? For a protagonist it sounds like a pipe dream. It’s up to the player to help her gradually get to know her classmates and get them used to simple non-smartphone entertainment for social adjustment.

Land of Screens is mechanically simple as it aims primarily at a deep and interesting story. It not only reveals the problems of modern teenagers’ socialization and their cruelty from a sense of impunity. But also about ecology and the importance of being able to see beauty on the way to school and when going shopping. Because in creation one can learn to wait, to be patient and to find inner harmony.
