HOKI The Ronin Rider is a hardcore 2D adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world. Project features a lot of sarcastic and black humor. Gameplay inspired by 90’s platformers. Ronin must be controlled with a katana, moving through the wasteland with the help of his trusty iron horse. When you run out of gas on your motorbike, you must explore the area on your own and fight numerous enemies with a deadly sword.

HOKI The Ronin Rider gameplay is a classic side scrolling arcade game. In the controls there are only two buttons that are responsible for hitting and jumping. Not only do you have to fight against numerous enemies, but you also have to play platforms and jump over various traps and obstacles. The locations also contain a variety of puzzles and riddles based on interaction with the environment.

The plot consists of four episodes. Each stage offers the opportunity to fight unique enemies and solve intriguing puzzles. The hero constantly gets into various surreal situations, from which he overcomes with his weapon or sense of humor. The graphics are inspired by anime and the overall concept is inspired by the movie Six-String Samurai.
