Heroes of Normandy – a mixture of a board card game with wargames. Cardboard figures with humorous decoration are realized here as miniatures. The strategy is characterized by a mass of tactical decisions, unique units and their various abilities. There are 3 story campaigns, quick fights, a mini-campaign with survival, fight with a friend in the network.

The Heroes of Normandy game is set against the backdrop of World War II, where the user takes control of small armies. There are three types of troops and French resistance forces available. The events take place on the playing field, where the locations correspond to the landscape – there are buildings, rivers and bridges, sandbags, bunkers, wheat fields and forests. The structure of the battlefield depends on the chosen campaign. The player recruits armies before the actual battle according to certain rules. In addition to the units, the user gets a deck of action cards that can change the course of things. Each unit’s tokens have a description of its speed, special abilities, attack bonuses, and type of defense.

The battles include not only infantry and other types of soldiers, but also heavy and light military equipment. The scrum consists of rounds in phases. For example, the preparation phase allows you to pick up action cards, and the mission phase marks the units participating in a particular round. When activating combat units, each of them performs one of the maneuvers, e.g. B. moves, fights melee, moves with weapons, shoots and uses special abilities. The reserve phase is the last of each turn in which the user moves non-activated units using their special abilities.
