Guardener crosses farm simulator with casual arcade and real-time strategy game. This is a small indi project with two dimensional drawn graphics reminiscent of the old flash games. In this title, the user helps the little garden gnome to protect his small garden from snails, moles, worms and other creatures. There are a total of 8 different types of enemies. Among them are occasional bosses. Enemies usually attack in waves. The protagonist can fight opponents and pick up and plant layers. You have to buy them with money, after that they fall from the sky onto the map. To earn gold, you must grow and sell 5 types of vegetables. No tutorial here, but the project has a low barrier to entry. Players are expected to figure out all the mechanics themselves.

In Guardener there is a change of seasons. There are 3 seasons in total: spring, summer and autumn. The main goal of the game is to survive the winter. This task can take several hours. The hero cannot cope with this mission alone. So you have to grow carrots, onions and potatoes to help him. Humanoid fruits are full-fledged entities. They too can move around the site, garden and take part in battles. In the indi game you not only have to defend your garden and collect crops, but also water the plants and pull the weeds regularly.
