The atmosphere in GNOSIA is filled with detective mood, in which the hero has to investigate various complicated cases. The game’s universe is presented as an alternate future in which there are mysterious creatures called “Gnosis” who pretend to be humans and deceive their victims. The protagonist has to figure out who is a real person and who is an assassin disguised as a pretty girl. The game is in the visual roleplaying novel genre, where you have to rely on social deduction and unravel the mysteries of the characters.

Users in GNOSIA will have conversations with different personalities and try to find out the truth through correctly asked questions. You have to read the dialogue between the characters in the novella, which contains elements of randomness and random events. The protagonist must interact with suspects to make a decision. If an intuition points to a “monster”, this person is put into a deep-temperature sleep for clarification. The project is immersed in a sci-fi environment in which you have to play different roles to unmask suspicious characters. As the game progresses, the main character will level up and acquire new skills that will allow you to more effectively identify creatures dangerous to society. The protagonist can become a victim himself, so you need to choose your dialogues carefully.
