The game is in the genre of role-playing third-person shooter, where you have to move through locations in the half-corridor and perform tasks to clear the area of ​​​​enemies.

The plot in Elementite tells the story of a mysterious mineral that scientists recently discovered. The mysterious component strengthens the human body, better protects it from the dangers of the outside world and reduces the damage suffered. Mineral has empowered many people, turning them into ideal warriors and guardians who have come to serve the Company. The poor were left behind by innovative technologies and fell under the tyrannical power of the upper class that runs the corporations.

The protagonist acts as a talented soldier who formerly served in the Global Council. In the past, he fought against evil corporations with a girl named Brigit until he found himself a prisoner of the “Corporation” after the council was overthrown. He was assigned to conduct experiments in the laboratory, which subsequently affected the strengths and abilities of the protagonist. Players explore the hero’s possibilities by using the elemental system in battle.

Chrono can switch between two modes: melee and ranged combat with firearms. In close combat, you must use a “time element meter” that alters your environment and creates teleporters, as well as slowing, speeding up, or otherwise affecting your enemies.
