The adventures of the ancient magician in Dark Magician will allow you atmospheric exploration of two-dimensional locations in a fictional fantasy world. The project emphasizes elements of 2D platforming, where the user controls the character, moving through colorful locations and using jumps to overcome the obstacles of the landscape. Enemies roam the arenas, attacking the protagonist whenever possible. The hero gains the ability to use magic and fire fireballs at the undead and other fantastical monsters that inhabit the imagined universe.

The main task of the older wizard in Dark Magician becomes the search for his lost apprentice, who was kidnapped by an insidious and evil antagonist who is the opposite of the hero. The user navigates a variety of biomes and encounters dangerous creatures in dungeons in hopes of getting to the villain and saving the young and aspiring wizard. There are traps along the way that can cause deadly damage, so you’ll need to pay close attention to your surroundings.

Going out to rescue a young apprentice means:

• Collect bonus coins to upgrade spells and increase the number and variety of attacks available.
• Find jewels and ancient artifacts that you can exchange for gold in the shop.
• Improve your character with treasures discovered in levels.
• Exchange 1000 Gold Pieces for 60 Gems to upgrade your Grimoire spells more profitably.
