In Cult of the Lamb, once the player ventures onto lands belonging to false prophets, they are invited to found their cult and create a powerful community of followers. In the adventure game with RPG elements, the player has to keep his word to the forest dwellers and gradually undertake various forays into countries and regions in an attempt to expand the sphere of influence of his religion to all regions.

The user is reborn as a possessed lamb. One day, a hero is lucky enough to be saved from death by a mysterious stranger. The savior now asks for tribute in the form of reliable followers and tries to lay the foundation for his special religion. Here the player is invited to engage in gathering resources needed for the construction of various types of buildings, gradually increasing the faith of his subjects, performing sermons as well as dark rituals in order to earn blessings from the dark gods. In doing so, you must explore a randomly generated map of the universe, engage in battles with sectarian enemies, and destroy leaders who will allow you to establish yourself in the local lands and seize power. In order to travel safely, the hero must train the herd, which will allow you to perform various mystical rituals and unlock the mysteries of the 5 secret realms.
