CORPSE FACTORY takes you to the modern metropolis of Tokyo. The lives of the residents of the capital are radically changed when a certain site is discovered on the Internet, through which registered users can fulfill their worst wish – murder someone. As soon as the first rumors spread about the place, strange murders started happening in the city and their number increased every day. The plot revolves around a group of young people who start their own detective investigations.

CORPSE FACTORY protagonists learn how the scheme works. A man uploads a photo of a person about to die to a web resource. A few days later, the victim receives an already altered image in the photo – instead of a living self, she sees a corpse with the date and exact time of clinical death. After that, she dies at exactly the right time under strange circumstances. However, the scheme means next to nothing – the characters still don’t understand how things work in practice. They want to find out the truth before many innocent people get hurt. It gets complicated when one of the main characters also gets an unhappy picture.

As with any visual novel, the emphasis here is solely on dialogue – the player cannot explore the virtual world or perform any other actions. Thousands of lines of dialogue are created against a backdrop of colorful non-animated images drawn in popular anime visual style. The story has multiple endings. Which one the user comes to depends on the main choices they made earlier while interacting with the characters.
