Chaos on Landponia is a two-dimensional search. This game is a sequel to the German point-click quest Deponia. The project was developed by the German studio Daedalic Entertainment. Announced in fall 2012.

The graphics in the game are drawn by hand, and the main characters “come to life” using the same technology that animators use. So we’re presented with a rather cartoonish quest in which the main character, Rufus, is a rather strange and selfish inventor from the planet Deponia, who supports Elysium with every fiber of his soul and tries to get there, but he doesn’t lose hope of finding his home to rescue.

The story arc is divided into three chapters. In addition, at the very beginning there is a parting word – a prologue. The game ends with a kind of epilogue.

The gameplay consists of solving puzzles of various difficulty levels. The semi-interactive environment hides many mysteries. In the in-game space, movement is performed using a special map. The speed at which Chaos is passed on Deponia depends on how smart the player is.
