Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 belongs to the Hack and Slash genre. Like its predecessor, the game is based on a board game. It takes place in a medieval fantasy world called Forgotten Realms. Events unfold in and around the town of Baldur’s Gate. The sequel has acquired several types of complexity. After completing the campaign, which now consists of 80 levels, the extreme mode opens. This action role-playing game features a wide variety of weapons, armor, spells, and abilities. Heroes and heroines gain access to additional abilities after completing class quests. The sequel features a gem system that allows players to engage in crafting and increase replayability. The size of the locations has increased in the sequel and the number of side quests has increased. There is also a partial non-linearity.

Not the original Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II is posted here, but its remaster. This project was originally only released on consoles. Many years later, the developers made it available to PC owners as well. They’ve streamlined the graphics, added support for 4K resolutions, and adjusted the controls (gamepads are also supported). Also, the developers introduced achievements and added the ability to play with two people on one PC. In addition, the creators have updated some of the old skills. The plot picks up where the first part left off. Past adventurers have ascended to Onyx Tower, where they are captured by the vampire Mordok Selanmer. In her place, a new team of adventurers is hired to investigate serial killings.

You can choose from 5 characters with their own names, unique abilities, individual fighting styles and classes:

• Dorn Redbear is a human barbarian who relies on speed and berserk attacks;
• Vhaidra Uowiir is a Dark Elf monk who can fight with bare hands and paired weapons;
• Allesia Faithhammer is a spiritual girl who belongs to the human race and wields divine magic;
• Borador nicknamed Goldhand – Dwarf fugitive who prefers throwing bombs and shooting crossbows.
