The fantasy world of Astatos tells the story of the strife in the kingdom of anthropomorphic beasts, where rebels attack the city. Vitus and Volesus are forced to flee the Academy, abandoning their order and unleashing an ancient god and devil that will affect local lands. The plot is shown in several chapters between which you have to travel and fight enemies. The game takes the form of a deck-building card adventure with elements of a visual novel.

Tentacles in the Astatos Universe give players the ability to:

• Test yourself in turn-based battles where you have to choose the right cards to attack or defend.
• Face a showdown between gods and heroes as they survive in a chaotic crumbling world.
• Fight royal mages in duel mode.
• Single player or multiplayer game.

When they happen, users can influence the plot. Users read dialogues between characters and pick up desired responses. Each choice will change the narrative and bring different consequences in the future. Gameplay mechanics during battle allow you to pick up cards, cast spells, summon characters and lure the enemy team to your side. Each character has their own skills and traits that allow you to form unique combinations and tactics. Between battles, you can spend treasures earned in battles to level up characters.
