Argonus and the Stone Gods Is a first-person adventure game based on Greek mythology. The plot is based on the novel by Betsy Brantley (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Princess Bride) and the dynamic main theme is the work of the famous composer Rich Douglas.

The main character is Argon, a cartographer, traveler and historian, a member of Jason’s expedition to the Golden Fleece. After the ship “Argo” is thrown onto the sharp reefs (to the chants of treacherous sirens), Argon is left alone.

The player has to find out where all the faithful companions who accompanied Argon on a sea voyage have gone, explore an amazing, colorful and dangerous world and even face powerful monsters and deities of ancient Greece. The climax is the protagonist’s decision to make a deal with the goddess: only in exchange for Argon’s help in the fight against the plague are the Argonauts given the opportunity to sail away peacefully.

The gameplay includes not only skirmishes with opponents (however, a well-developed AI will turn even these small battles into real challenges), but also solving various puzzles and ancient mysteries, although the most important element of this is exploration of the unknown territory.
