13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim immerses players in an adventure that takes place in a futuristic environment. The events take you to alternate Japan in the 1980s, where a bloody war is raging between a group of mechs and kaiju. The game is a mixture of RTS and action-adventure, which is done in anime graphics. Users will be immersed in a non-linear story that will evolve and depend entirely on the players’ actions in the process of happening. Reach one of several unique endings that lead to a positive or negative story ending.

The main character in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a high school student who will socialize with other classmates and friends. Players watch the dialogues between the characters and can pick up the lines they want during the conversations. Also in the game there will be battles where you can use a variety of abilities of each of the allies in the squad protagonist. Players can assemble thirteen colorful characters that interact with each other, communicate and engage in battles with enemy combatants.

Game mechanics are divided into 3 main modes: Memories (exploration of locations that advance the narrative), Destruction (real-time mech combat with tactical breaks), and Analysis (a glossary documenting scenes of events, items, and important figures about which you can read more). Users wander through two-dimensional maps and come into contact with an interactive environment to inspect and explore. In battles, players take control of six fighters who pilot robots “Guardians” to repel enemy attacks.
